Vivian Lee joined the NY1's news team in September 2008 as an anchor and reporter. Her career in NYC started at WNBC where she was a General Assignment Reporter for six year and produced in-depth and investigative stories. Prior to working in the US' top market, Vivian anchored and reported for several years in Canada. She served as the primetime anchor on A-Channel’s News @ Night program in Calgary; anchor and reporter for CityTV/CablePulse-24 in Toronto, then a part of the CHUM Television Network and Canada's first 24-7 local news channels; and federal affairs correspondent for Ottawa's CityTV and CP24. Vivian graduated from Carleton University's journalism program in Ottawa, Canada. She has been awarded Mentor of the Year by CUNY's Asian American/Asian Research Institute, and Volunteer Tutor of the Year by the non-profit mentoring group APEX.
